Let’s say you purchase a mattress with a 10-year warranty (specific terms may vary depending on the manufacturer). In the first few years (exact duration depends on the manufacturer’s terms), you’ll be reimbursed in full for repairs due to covered defects. This is your **guarantee**. After this period, you may be responsible for a portion of the repair cost for the remaining years. This is the **warranty**.

* **Safekeeping Your Warranty Information:** We recommend keeping your proof of purchase and warranty card in a safe place. Consider placing them in an envelope and storing them between your mattress base and mattress for easy access.
